Are We Putting Limits On God's Limitless Spirit?

"For God gives the Spirit without limit." John 3:34

I think that, so many times in our lives we put limitations on God. We determine what it is that He can and can't do, and tell ourselves that our prayers are too big for Him to handle. That they are just so impossible, that they can't be done. But let me remind you of who our God is today, and what it is that He can do for you.
Now, I believe that we have these limits in our own mind of what is possible, and what is impossible. They are like a barrier that our dreams, hopes, and prayers are bound by; but see, when we set this boundary, we are also setting one on God and His power. We tell ourselves that we don't think that He could do this, and then we back that statement up with all of the reasons why He couldn't. Not only that, but I think that we fear for God not giving us enough. Not giving us enough strength, money, time, patience; whatever it may be, we fear that we aren't going to be able to make it through whatever it is we might be facing at the time because we don't think that we will have enough. But let me tell you today, that if we would allow God to step in, if we would give up control and break down those barriers; if we would trust Him and rid ourselves of those limitations, He would be able to step in and do all of these things that you thought that He couldn't.
You see, in the bible, the verse in John 3:34 says that "God gives the Spirit without limit." Now what does that mean? Well you see, that the Spirit is what God and is what Jesus have living inside of them. That is the power that they hold, that is the miracles that they can perform, that is why they can do the impossible, and God is giving it to us, without limit. He does not have these boundaries that say whether something is impossible or not, He does not determine whether we have had too much, but instead He gives it without limit. He pours it out over us in abundance, and if we would break those barriers, stop being afraid, and get rid of those limitations, then we will begin to see and experience the amazing things that happen when we are open to God's limitless Spirit.
