We Will Never Be Perfect

"Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful." Unknown

I believe that so many of us spend so much time and energy on trying to make our lives perfect. We strive to have the perfect job, the perfect house, and just be perfect ourselves. But listen, I am sorry to break it to you today, but we are never going to be perfect.
Now, even though our lives, or even ourselves for that matter, may never be perfect, God has created our lives so that they don't have to be, and we don't have to be either, to enjoy the wonderful life that He has for us.
You see, I think that we put so much stress on ourselves to do something with absolute perfection, especially when we are doing it for God. We do not want to disappoint Him in who we are or what we are doing, so we just keep trying and trying to reach that point of perfection, but we never reach it, and that my friend, is where the stress, the frustration, and the disappointment all begin to seep in. The enemy begins to tell you that you aren't good enough, that your life is a mess; but listen, don't believe those lies. Do not let the frustration, stress, or disappointment overtake you, but instead, know that God did not create us to be perfect! And He did not create us to live a perfect lifestyle either! For He is the only truly perfect thing, and we should take heart in the fact that, the One who is perfect is the one who has our lives in the palm of His hand, and even though we may never be that way, and even though our lives may never be that way either, we just have to do the best that we can. Stop taking the stress of perfection on your shoulders and know that, when you do the absolute best you can, that is how God created you to be, and when He sees you doing this, and when we enjoy the life that He has given us, He is so proud. He smiles down at us knowing that this, to Him, is our form of perfection.
So just know that you, or your life, don't have to be perfect to be the wonderful creation that God has created them to be.
