The Power Within Us Is Much Greater Than Anything The Enemy Can Do

"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." 1 John 4:4

 Maybe today, you are facing something, or even someone, in your life that is dragging you down. It is testing your faith and you feel as though your strength is wearing out. Is this where you are today? If so, let me tell you that, even though things on the outside may be coming against you, there is something in you that is greater than all of that.
 You see, when facing difficult situations, rough relationships, or whatever else it is that you have going on in your life, it is easy to let them knock you down. It is easy to let their negativity overtake you, causing you to feel down and defeated, frustrated and angry; but that is exactly what it is that the enemy is wanting you to think! He is talking to you through these situations so that he can defeat you. He is feeding you lies, so don't believe them! When these situations come at you in life, rather than letting them take you over, stand strong, and tap into that power that you have within you. That same power that God has within Him, the kind that He has given us so that we can face situations like these with the strength that He gives us, with the confidence, with the peace, and with His word. And when the enemy sees this, when he realizes what it is that we have, he is going to run, for he knows that the power that we have within us is so much greater than anything that he can do.
 So today, rejoice in God's command where He tells His children to tap into that amazing power that we have inside of us. Rejoice in the fact that with it, no matter what, or who, may come against you, that power that you have within you is greater than anything that could come against you in the world.
