You May Have Fallen, But Your Father Will Pick You Back Up

 Maybe in your life today, you have tried so hard and given all the effort that you possible could to this certain situation or task. You have focused on it, prayed about it, and worked towards it, but you only ended up falling flat on your face. Does this sound familiar? If so, I want to encourage you today not to let that fall keep you down, but rather, let your Father pick you up.
 You see, after working so hard only to end up falling down, it can be truly discouraging, not only that, but it can be difficult to find the motivation and the strength to get back up again. We might even think to ourselves that we will just stay where we have fallen, for it is easier than getting up, putting in all of that effort again only to have the cycle repeat. But let me tell you that that spot where you are, the one where you have fallen down and don't think that you can manage to get back up, that is not the life that God has for you; in fact, it is only a stepping stone leading up to your purpose and your plan.
 So how is it that we are supposed to get back up, especially if we are weakened and discouraged? Well, your Father is waiting to pick you up, but only if that is what you are wanting to happen. You can't stay in that same spot and give up on going any further. No. But if you would trust that God is going to pick you up again, and again, and again, whenever it is that you might fall, that is when He is going to intervene.
 Think about it this way; when a little baby is first learning to walk, it is known that the baby is going to fall several times, but the baby has faith that, when it does end up falling, their parent is going to pick them back up again, and they will keep trying. See, that is how we need to be with our Father! We need to know that, at points, we are going to fall, but we need to have that child-like faith that says, even when we do, our Father is going to be right there to pick us back up again every time.
 So today, I want you to have faith that God is going to pick you back up and I want you to keep going. For this place is only a stepping stone to what it is that God has in store for you. This fall is an opportunity for you to begin again, so go out there today, with God at your side, and continue to walk the path that He has laid out for you.
