Stop Looking At The Junk Within The Gutter That You Are Stuck In, And Turn Towards The Stars

 We all have hard moments in our lives; we have difficulties, challenges, and obstacles. God actually promised us that we would! But see, what we don't realize is that, during these hard situations that we all have, we have the power to overcome them, if we would just change our perspective.
 I love the visual that Oscar Wilde presents to us with this quote; for we all have those moments "in the gutter." We feel like we've failed, like we just can't do it, we feel discouraged and beaten down, but see, let me repeat it again, we all have these moments, every single one of us. But notice in the second half of the quote above, Oscar Wilde states that, "but some of us are looking at the stars." Some people see the beauty in the gutter, but notice how the "all" changes to a "some," for this is not a lifestyle or way of thinking that many people have, and maybe today, you are one of those people. One of those people that are in the "gutter," and looking at all of the junk within it. Is this you today? If so, I want to encourage you to change your perspective; to, instead of looking at all of the junk within the gutter, turn towards the stars.
 So how is it that we do this? What if we don't see any positive in our situation? What are we supposed to focus on then? Well you see, I think that this a a big question that stops many people from believing this way, for when they are in this difficult situation and facing this hard time, that is all they see, that is all that they assume is around them, but if you would just look, look past the difficulty and past the hardships, you would realize all of the amazing things that God has blessed you with. All of the talents, family, blessings, and miracles, and see, if we would set our focus to both, these things, and the fact that God is at your side, you are going to be amazed on how your perspective, and your life, will change.
 So just know and rejoice in all of the blessings that God has given you, notice and enjoy them. And you also have to trust. Trust in the fact that God is on your side, that He can get you through anything, that He is giving you strength, that He will provide, and that He is never going to let you fail. So today, if you do these things, you will watch your life change for the better as you shift your perspective towards the stars.
