Be Happy

"The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything." Unknown

Today, maybe you are telling yourself that once this happens, then you will be happy, or once you get over this or accomplish that, that is when you are going to be living the happiness-filled life that God has you to live. But see, that's not how it works. We don't have to have the best of everything to be happy, but we can make the best of everything.
Now, like I said before, so many people assume that they need things to be happy, that they need a certain situation to happen or they need to get out of the situation that they are in. But see, what they do not understand is that they are going to be waiting for a long time. God doesn't just bring you happiness when you find it convenient. He doesn't give it to you when you meet certain goals that you have, but instead, He always has it there for you. He is waiting for you to rejoice in this joy that He has waiting for you, because He knows that, to find this happiness, we don't need to search for it or have certain things happen before we are able to enjoy it, but instead we have to make the best out of everything, no matter our situation.
So how is it that we begin to do this? Well you see, rather than, let's say, saying that once you get out of this situation, then you will be happy, go and make the best out of the situation that you are in. Rather than complaining about it, find the good within it. Find the blessings and the peace that you have within your life and rejoice in those! That, my friend, is how we truly find happiness. That is the kind of happiness that God is wanting us to rejoice in, the kind that doesn't come from getting out of a situation or having this or that changed, but a happiness that comes from making the best out of where God has us in the moment. See, no matter where you are today, there is a reason to be happy. There are blessings that God has given you and miracles that have yet to be discovered. So go out today, find the blessing within where you are, make the best out of the day, and just be happy.

  1. All Joy is in and of the Lord. We enjoy life as we walk with the Lord and share with people the Joy of the Lord.
