Tragedy May Strike, But God's Love And Peace Stay Strong

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you."
Isaiah 54:10

In this world, bad things happen, tragedies occur, and hearts are broken, but amidst these dark and broken times, we have to remember and rest in God's word, for He says that, despite these things, He is always going to be there for us.
Now you see, in the verse above, God tells us in the words of "though the the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed," that there will be trouble in this world. He tells us that there will be hard times and tragedy that we are going to have to endure, but in that same verse, He goes on to tell us that, when these things do happen, that His "unfailing love for you will not be shaken." Just because something bad has happened or just because you have to endure a tragedy, that does not mean that God has left you. In fact, He is there with you, standing even closer than He was before. See, this horrible thing that happened is not going to scare God away, but He is going to come close to His children and love them unconditionally.
Now, as a continuation of the last point in the verse, God says the words, "nor my covenant of peace be removed." Not only is God here to love us unconditionally despite what it is that is happening around us, but His peace is there as well. See, just because there may be chaos in the world, that does not eliminate God's peace that He has, and it never will. God is comforting His children, giving them the love and the peace that they need despite the situation that they may be in.
So today, just know that God loves you, and He is "close to the brokenhearted." (See Psalm 34:18) God is there with you and He is offering His perfect peace in the chaos that may be going on around you, so rest in Him, and let His perfect and unconditional love and peace overtake the trouble that is not only in the world today, but the trouble that is within your heart.
