You May Be Knocked Down, But You Need To Get Back Up Again

 In our lives, it's hard to hear the word no. It's hard when there's something that we work hard towards, that we put effort into, or that we really, really want to happen, but then it doesn't. We all go through this, every single one of us. But that doesn't make the feeling any better. But see, when this happens, and when we hear that no, it may knock us down and it may discourage us, but don't let that last. You have to get back on your feet; you have to get back up again, shake yourself off, and keep going.

 Now, I know this sounds like it is easier said than done. I know that, when you are going through this disappointment, it seems hard to get back up again. It seems difficult to shake this off, for you were certain that it was going to happen, you were excited, and you don't understand why it is that God wouldn't grant you with this. But listen, my friend, even though we may not understand it, even though we may feel disappointed, we have to trust that God's plan always comes through. God didn't allow you to take this up because, not only would it not lead you to where He has you to be, but He has something better in store for you. He didn't allow you to go any further into this because the life that He has planned for you is so much better than this one moment, this one wish, or this one opportunity, that you wouldn't even believe that it is going to happen if someone told you about it.

 So today, I want to to get back up from your disappointment and dust yourself off, and see, I don't want you to just get back up either, but I want you to get back up, and rise. Rise to the new heights that God has for you aside from this situation. Rise and walk into the life that He has for you, fully trusting that this plan that He has for your life is far greater than anything you've been told no about. Today, even though you may be disappointed, get up, and trust that God knows what He is doing. Walk into the life that He has for you that is full of opportunities so spectacular and so much greater than any that you have been told no about, that it is all more than you could ever dream of. God cares for you, His child, and He is going to make sure that you live an amazing life.
