Looking For Peace In All The Wrong Places

 Maybe today in your life, you are in the midst of trouble. There is chaos going on in your life and you feel as though it is just one thing after another that is hitting you, attempting to knock you down. Now, in the midst of times like these, most people seek peace, but they think that peace that they are seeking can be found once this chaos is all done and over. They think that they will find this peace when there isn't any more trouble in their lives. But see, there is always going to be trouble, my friend, and if you are trying to find peace in a place where there is none, well, I am sorry to say that you are never going to find it.

 Now, what do I mean by this? Well, you see, there is always going to be trouble in this world whether it be in us or around us, but we don't like to look at it that way, who would? We like to see peace as the light at the end of the tunnel; this place that, when this chaotic situation is over, we won't have any more trouble, we won't be stressed anymore, and all will be just calm and perfect. But see, that is not the case. I mean, yes, we will feel better once we get out of this situation, but there will still be trouble within us and within this world. But see, if we can't find our peace in perfection, then where are we going to find it? Well, the answer here is really quite simple; Christ.

 Now, I know what you may be thinking, "I already know Christ, and I am still in the midst of this chaos." But what you need to realize, my friend, is that the only peace that can truly ever be found in this world is when we rest and trust in Him. Yes, we may be going through a hard situation, but we have to trust that God is going to bring us out of this better than we were before. We have to trust that He gives a reason for everything that we go through, even though we might not see it right now, and we have to believe that He is going to get us through this and rest in that fact! When you do this, my friend, that is when you are going to find peace. 

 So today, no matter what trouble or chaos you might have in your life, just know that you can find the peace that you are searching for right now, in your loving Father's presence.
