I fell in love with the simplicity of this quote this morning. I mean, how often is it that we are worried about what is going to happen in our lives? How often is it that we are concerned with what lies ahead or how we are going to get to a certain point? I believe the answer to be almost daily; don't you agree? But why is that we are not entrusting our life with the one who gave it to us in the first place instead?
Now, I want you to think of how simple this aspect of faith really is. I mean, God has gifted us with this life. He created it, He shaped it, and He gave it to us, not to mention the fact that He created us, shaped us, and molded us so that we are able to live it, and so why is it that we worry? Why is it that we are concerned with how a situation is going to turn out or how we are going to get from one point from another? Yes, we are human, but we can't use that as an excuse because we have a supernatural God on our side who is holding our life in the palm of His hands.
Now you see, when we worry, when we doubt, and when we question, is that really trusting God with our life? No, it isn't. We are trying to control it and we are trying to figure it all out all so we know how it's going to end, but my friend, this is why we worry and this is why we get stressed out and concerned! All because, rather than letting God take it all and trusting Him with this life that was His to give in the first place, we take it upon ourselves to do that job. So today, I want you to take a step in your faith; one that will not only make your relationship with God stronger but improve your life tremendously! You see, I want you today to give your life to God, and stop worrying about why and how it is all going to work out. Just give it all to Him and let Him lift this burden off of your shoulders. For when you really and truly trust God with your life, my friend, you have no idea how easy it all will be. You will live in such peace and happiness, knowing that everything that happens is because of God's will. Now yes, this will take practice, it is not something that you can just automatically start doing, but the effort will be worth it when you begin to truly live the life that God has given you.
