You Can Change The World

 What if I told you today, that you could change the world? What if I told you that you have the capability to make this world a better and brighter place? See, our first thoughts when we hear this is that we have to do something big. We think that changing the world involves doing things like giving a million dollars to a charity or going across the country for a mission trip. Now, if you can do these things, do them! That is great! But for others, it can be quite discouraging knowing that we aren't able to do anything like that and we just automatically assume that we aren't able to change the world. But let me tell you my friend, that you couldn't be more wrong. You can change the world right here, right now, if you would start in your own daily life and just be kind.
 Now see, kindness may be seen as such a small and insignificant act when it comes to something as big as changing the world. But listen, Aesop said it perfectly when he said that "no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." This statement shows us that every kind thing that we do, it is always going to be acknowledged by God. He is going to see us doing these things and He is going to make sure that these seeds that we are planting turn into the world-change that He wants it to be. See, it doesn't have to be something extravagant, but rather, can be a small act of kindness that God can use through us to change the world.
 So today, go out and be kind. Open the door for someone, offer them a smile, give them an encouraging word, and just be kind to everyone that you come in contact with, for when you do, God is going to take these seeds of kindness that you are planting and He is going to cause them to grow into real life-change and world-change for everyone and the world around you.
