Kindness Can Change The World

"Do not pass by a man in need, for you may be the hand of God to him." Proverbs 3:27

 In this world, there is trouble; I am not going to lie. There are things that happen that we don't understand and that make us upset, there are things that make us angry even, but what this world, including us, is needing to realize is that this world doesn't need more of that negativity, it doesn't need any more darkness, or any more hate, but instead, this world needs light, it needs love and kindness.
 Now I love how this verse tells us not only to reach out to others in need, but it tells us that, if we do, that hand that we extend to them could be seen as the hand of God from their perspective. See, being kind is something that, in my opinion, everyone needs to do more of, myself included. For God has placed this light within us, this light that He even had within Himself, that He wants us to shine onto others. And how do we do that? Well, by being kind of course.  Shine that light of God wherever it is that you go and just be kind to everyone that you meet. It is that simple, and that my friend, is how we can make this world a brighter place; because when you do, and when you extend this kindness to somone else, they are going to see God, of whom maybe they have never seen before, through you, and after your act of kindness that you extended to them, they are going to pursue that love, that kindness, and that light that they saw through you.
 So today, just constantly remind yourself to be kind to each and every person that you come in contact with, whether it be your family, your friends, or total strangers. The world, and the people in it, need that light that you have within you, so go out and shine it.
