"You Need Only Be Still."

"The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." Exodus 14:14

 Now I don't know what the battles are that you may be facing today. Maybe they are within this world, within your relationships within others, or even within yourself; whatever they may be, I want to give you some encouragement with the fact that you don't have to fight anymore. You don't have to wear yourself down trying to figure this all out, because someone, and that is someone with much more power over this situation, has it taken care of.
 Now, I am not saying that we should just sit back and do nothing while we watch God do all of the work for us. No. That is not what He meant when He told us to "be still," but instead, He meant that during these chaotic times, we need to just stop fighting and stop trying to figure all of this out, "be still", and just listen to what God is telling us to do.
 See, when we are in the midst of one of these situations, there are so many different voices telling us what to do and where to go, but if we would just shut all of those voices out and take some time to focus on the only voice that truly matters, that is when you, my friend, are going to find the direction that you are looking for.
 So today, just "be still" and rest in the peace that your Father gives you in doing so, watch as He fights your battles in a way that you never could on your own, and watch and listen for the guidance that will be revealed to you. "You need only be still."
