Don't Give Up On Your Prayers

 Maybe today, you are ready to give up on a prayer that you've been praying for a long time. You have been dedicated and faithful, praying for it every day, but still have yet to see anything come to pass. Believe me, I know that this can be discouraging, but I want to encourage you to keep praying and keep being faithful, for the next prayer that you offer up to God could be the one that He's been waiting for, the one that proves to Him that you truly want this.
 I once heard an example talking about this topic. It was that of the Isrealites circling around Jericho, just praying that the walls around the city would fall, but God didn't grant their prayer right then, instead, He allowed them to prove their dedication, to prove that they truly wanted this. So, as most of you know, they circled the city seven times and on the seventh, the walls fell, answering their prayers; but what if they had given up and stopped at six, deciding that it was never going to happen? They only would have been one step away from their prayer being answered. And they would have missed it! So, my friend, please just keep praying, for your next prayer could be the one that is answered, and you wouldn't want to miss out on that.
