God's Patience Is Not His Absence

"Don't mistake God's patience for His absence. His timing is perfect, and His presence is constant. He's always with you!" Deuteronomy 31:6

 So many times in life, we get frustrated and begin to think that God is not with us when really, God is simply just being patient. But unfortunately we don't look at it that way. A lot of time time, we mistake God's patience for His absence. We get discouraged and upset because whatever it was that we asked for is not showing up, so we see that as a sign that God is not there. This is not true. No! In times like these we have to know that God is waiting for a reason. Even though we see it as His absence, we have to look at it as His patience. We may not see why it is taking a long time right away, but when we look back, we will see how perfect God's timing really is. So, if you are discouraged today because you are not seeing what you ask for come to pass, please just know that God hasn't left you, and He never will leave you! He is just waiting for the best time to give you what you are asking for.
