He Does Not Change

"For I am the Lord, I do not change." Malachi 3:6

Chances are, that we have all experienced some degree of change in our lives. Maybe you are even going through it right now, and I am going to be honest, no matter what the change might be for, it can be hard. Whether we are changing, people around us are changing, or even our world might be seeming to change and there is nothing you can do to stop it. What do we do? Especially when we are changing or have been changed. Maybe you are looking back today wondering how you got to where you are now from where you were back then. How can God still love the person we have become?
Maybe today, we are changing for the better, or maybe it is the other way around. Maybe you feel like you've changed over time, and you don't know how you got this low. You want to be back in that high spot you were in before, but you have no idea how to get there. Maybe your mind is telling you that since you've changed, since the person you used to be is gone, God can't love you anymore. You are looking at your past and seeing the things you have done and beginning to believe what your mind is saying to you. Let me tell you this though, those are all lies. Don't believe them! No matter how you change, no matter what you become or what you don't, God does not change, He will continue to love you at your darkest and lift you out of those places you have wandered into.
So no matter what has changed in your life, know this, that a midst all of the chaos and the craziness, God's love never changes. It never has and it never will. His love, His great, unending, extraordinary love will never run out on you. He does not change.
