He Will Never Let Us Go

"Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go." Isaiah 41:10-13

 Maybe today you are going through a really tough situations. A battle in which you feel like the opposing side has already won, an obstacle that you are are attempting to mount but keep getting knocked down. No matter what it is that you are going through today, whether it is big or small, I want you to know a few things.
 Going off of Isaiah 41:10-13, I want you not to panic. When we get into a situation that seems to be way harder than we had imagined, our natural instinct is to panic, and yes, we are all human and end up having to panic every once in a while, but, before you start freaking out about what is going to happen, what's not going to happen, or worrying about how to get over the obstacle in front of you, wouldn't it be easier to just take a deep breath, and make yourself aware and sure of the fact that God is there with you? You do not have to be afraid of what lies ahead of you! You know why? Because God, the one who created the heavens and the earth, the one who created everything on it, that God is our God, and He is going to give you a strength that you could only get from Him, and with that strength within you and God at your side helping you and guiding you along the way, you are going to get past whatever it is that you are facing today. With God's strength and His presence, you can overcome anything.
 I really love how this verse ends here, it says, "I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go." God is holding on to you, not just somewhat holding you or doing it part-way, but He has a firm grip on you, this situation that you are in is not going to make you further from God, He is not going to let go of you, and He is not going to leave you! As it says in Isaiah, He is never going to let us go.
