Jesus Is Our Best Friend

When we think about Jesus, we usually think of the all powerful being up above. We think of this big and mighty power that takes care of the whole entire world. But, you know that we don't think of Him as? Something that He constantly is in our lives. Our friend.
 Now I know what your thinking. Hold on a minute, Jesus, our Lord, the Son of God, wants to be our friend? How can that possible be true?
 Well let me tell you this. Jesus died so He could know you, and He wants to do more than just protect you and give you the strength and abilities you need. So how do we exactly befriend Him? Well, one big aspect of this is when we talk to Him. Rather than talking up to Him like He is so distant. talk to Him as though He is your best friend. Have a conversation with Him and open yourself up. Think about this, with your best friend, when you are down, they lift you up. When you are feeling knocked down and discouraged, they pick you back up again. Sound familiar? Jesus is our best friend! He is there with us through thick and thin, and He is not going anywhere. So today I want you to really start that friendship with Him. Really kick it off by just talking to Him and having a conversation, knowing that He wants to be more than just your Lord and He died to know you.
