You Are Not Required To Succeed

 Maybe today you are feeling like you have failed God. He presented you with an opportunity and you attempted it, but you failed. You feel like God must have wasted that on you, that He is disappointed in you for not succeeding. Well, if this is your mindset, I must say, my friend, that you are very wrong.
 Now listen here, God is never, never going to see you fail Him. You cannot do it! For every mistake, every failure, every regret that you face, you will not fail Him! He is going to forgive you, He is going to accept you as you are. So, what about when God gives us an opportunity and we fail that? Do we fail Him then? Do we fail Him because we wasted this thing that He has blessed us with? Well, the answer is once again, no. You see, God does not ask or say that you have to succeed at what He puts in your path. He does not say that we have to fulfill it perfectly and not mess up. No! God doesn't care if you mess up. He is not asking you to be perfect, He is not requiring that you succeed at this, but there is one thing that He is asking for and that He is requiring. He wants you to try. He wants you to take this opportunity and give it your best shot, and you know what? Whether you succeed or fail, there is a reason for the way it turns out, and as long as you try, this opportunity will teach you something you could not have learned before. It will teach you a lesson that maybe you can't see right now, but that God can see, and sometime in the future, you will look back and see that, since you tried, your life was changed for the better.
 So today, remember that we don't have to succeed at everything, but the only thing that God requires and asks us to do is try.
