Make The Darkness Afraid Of You

"I used to be afraid of the dark until I learned that I am a light and the darkness is afraid of me."
Ephesians 5:8

 Maybe today, you are stuck in a dark place in your life. You are frightened because you aren't able to see anything around you, you don't know what's going on, and you don't know how to get out of it, but let me tell you something. You have something inside of you that can conquer that darkness, something that can make the darkness scared of you.
 So what is this weapon, this force that we apparently have against the darkness that we are facing? Well you see, this force that we have that we can face our the darkness with, it is not something that we hold in our hand, it is not something that we are able to touch, or even see, but it is something that we have inside of us, and that something, is the most powerful force that you could have against an obstacle. That something, is the light of God.
 You see, when we are so filled with faith, with belief, with joy, and hope, it shows, and we just have so much of it that it can't be contained! So it shines out from us, and you see, think of when you shine a flashlight into a dark room. What happens to it once the light hits it? That's right. It vanishes. And we can make that happen! If we would tap into that light that we have, think of all the blessings God has given you, think of the sacrifice He made, think of the joy that He gives you, think of how you believe in Him, and once you start doing this and proclaiming that, with God's help, you will get out of this dark time, that darkness will see that light, and you know what? That darkness will be scared of you.
