The Man On The Top Of The Mountain Didn't Fall There

 Maybe today, you are looking up at that mountain that you have been trying so hard for so long to climb but you aren't even close to the top, then you look over, and see that person standing on the very top of their mountain. "I wish I could just be like that." "I wish I could be where they are." If you are thinking these thoughts today, let me remind you that that person on the very top of their mountain, didn't just fall there.
 You see, even though they may be at the very top of their mountain, the spot that you are striving to get to, you have to know that they had to try, they had to struggle, just like you are doing now to get to the top. This happens so much in our daily lives that we don't even realize it. We look at someone, even someone from the past who did something great, and we wish that we could do something like that, but then we turn around and tell ourselves that we can't. "They were so famous, so important, so smart, that I could never amount to what they did." But again, let me remind you that, no matter how famous that person was, no matter how successful, they still had to climb to the top, and I am sure that the journey was not easy, but you know what? They conquered obstacles, they faced opposition, and they made their way up that mountain, just like you can! Those words that our parents told us when we were so little are true. We can become whatever we want to be! We just have to have enough faith. Enough faith in ourselves and enough faith in God, that He is going to grant us with the strength, the courage, and with anything else that we might need to climb that mountain.
 So go out today, knowing that you can really do anything that you set your mind to, knowing that even though that person is at the top, they had to struggle, fight, and work to get there, just like you are doing now, and once you do, than the goodness of God, the amazing future that you have been working towards, will be revealed to you.
