You Can Change The World, Whether You Believe It Or Not

"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." Harriet Tubman

Sometimes I feel like, a lot of the time, we are way too hard on ourselves, and that is the reason that we are not doing what we want. Maybe you are thinking to yourself, "Oh, I'm not hard on myself, and I am doing what I want to do right now." Well, okay, but can you answer a question for me? What if someone told you that you were going to change the world, would you believe them? And as far as you doing what you want to do right now, aren't there some bigger dreams out there that you have?
So, this is really what I want you to think about, why is it that, when we are told that we could change the world, we doubt that that statement is true? What excuses pop into your mind? Those that say, you're not strong enough, you're not brave enough, you're too young, too immature, the list could go on and on. But why are we letting these excuses keep us from our dreams? You see, these excuses aren't true, because God empowers you with strength, courage, bravery, and so much more, but if you begin to believe the doubt that is creeping in, you will begin seeing yourself like you are believing yourself to be, and the person that isn't strong enough or brave enough is not going to reach their dreams, eventually, they are going to see that they are not getting anywhere, give up on their dream, and settle for where they are. But God can do so much more than that if you will only let Him! He will equip you with whatever it is that you need, and He will go with you on the journey of wherever it is you want to go, and He is going to get you there, as long as you believe what He is telling you, rather than what your doubt is telling you.
So with God by your side, self confidence in your heart, and a hopeful outlook, you, my friend, can, in fact, change the world.
