Hand Over Control, No Matter How Scary It May Be

"Many are the plans of a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

 Maybe today, you have made all the plans. You have totally just planned your life out down to every little detail. You figure that you know what's going to happen next, and you figure that, when that happens, it would only make sense that this would happen next, the list goes on and on. But, if this is you, I want to ask you three questions today; First of all, are you seeing anything happen along with your plans? Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed because nothing seems to be going right? Well, if so, my next question for you is this; Do you want to eliminate that stress from your life? If the answer for you is yes today, the last thing that I want to ask is for you to do something, something that may seem kind of scary at first, something that involves not knowing what is going to happen next. I am going to ask you to take all of your plans, all of your mental spreadsheets and maps, and hand them over to God, and He is asking you to do the same exact thing.
 You see, as it says in Proverbs 19:21, we can make as many plans as we want, we can organize and think of what would naturally come next after this or that happens, but let me tell you, that it is our supernatural God's purpose that is going to prevail over all of our plans, and His plans, well, they are so much greater, they are so full of miracles, and they are so full of blessing that aren't at all in the plans that we have made. So what you need to do today is give up your plans. Know that, no matter how many you make, you are only going to be left feeling stressed because your plans aren't working out. But you have to know that you never have and you never will have control of your own life. But you see, the one that does have control, the one that you need to hand all your plans over to, He is going to do such a better job than you ever could have in controlling your life.
