"Not by my strength but His." Zechariah 4:6
Now, in yesterday's post, I talked about how you need to do your part, stand up, believe in yourself, and follow your dreams. But maybe, in the midst of trying to do that, you are finding that you don't have the strength. The longer the journey is, the more obstacles that you have to conquer, and the more you have to actually chase after that dream, you are feeling weak. And, yes, of course you want to reach that point of your dream coming true and you walking into the beautiful life that God has for you, but you really don't think that you are going to be able to do it. But let me tell you something that might actually surprise you today, you don't have to have the strength.
So what exactly do I mean by this? Well, you see, when we are walking the path that God has for us, when we are chasing the dreams that He has placed on our hearts and striving to walk into the life that He has for us, He isn't going to make us rely on our own earthly strength. He wants us to reach the finish line! He wants us to follow our dreams! And He wants us to walk into the miracles and wonder that He has for us! And you know what else? He is going to make sure that we do just that, and He knows that our strength is not going to get us there, so He is going to come to you and fill you with His strength instead. Now you see, our strength is breakable, it doesn't last as long as we think it will, and eventually, it can run out. But God's strength is so miraculous and incredible because it is unbreakable, it is going to last forever, and it is never going to run out! And once you pray up to God and ask Him to fill you with His strength, you are going to be amazed, and yes, we are still going to feel tired, we are still going to get exhausted after some days, but whether you are or not, you are still going to have the strength within you to keep going and reach your dreams and walk into the life that God has for you.
