Let Go Of That Closed Door; Walk Into Your New Beginning

"Often when you think you're at the end of something, you're at the beginning of something else." Mr. Rogers

Maybe today, something that you had such high hopes for in your life, something that you had this amazing vision for, has ended. Maybe you are asking God why He has done this. Maybe you even felt called to something by God, but now it's over. Why would He do this? Listen, let me tell you that, if you find yourself in any of these situations today or any other ones like it, there is a reason. God didn't just close that door to make you upset! No! But He knows something more than you do.
See, when God  calls us to do something, we get excited, and don't get me wrong, you definitely should, but with that excitement, we start to plan out how we think it is going to go. We map it all out, draw up all the plans, and it is those plans that don't turn out. But see, it is not your plans that you are going by, but it's God's, and in His plans, it's time for that door to close. We may never even know why He closed it when He did until we're up in Heaven asking Him ourselves, but for now you just have to trust and know that there was a reason that He called you to that certain place at that certain time, and you fulfilled that purpose that He wanted you to, so it's time let that door close and let go.
Now, in this type of situation, letting go can do so much more than you would ever think. See, like the quote says above, God makes a way to where, whenever a door closes and we are at the end of something in our lives, He is going to take that ending and turn it around into a beginning. A beginning to a journey that is even greater than the last, that is going to take you to higher and better places. But the thing is, is that we can't experience that beginning if we aren't willing to let go of that ending.
So today, just know that that door closed for a reason, and you fulfilled the purpose that God wanted you to within it. So let go of the closed door, and walk into the new beginning, that is even better, that God has for you.
