God Is The Director, We Are The Actor

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and H will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

 Today, maybe you are questioning where it is that God has you to go in life. You don't know where the rode that He has you to go on is, and frankly, you are feeling quite lost. But let me tell you today, that there is no need to feel lost. In fact, the directions are quite clear; you just need to listen.
 You see, God created your life and, even if you don't know where you are going, God sure does, and He is telling you where to go too, but sometimes our minds get so clouded with the words telling us that we don't know where we are going and that we are lost, that we can't hear those words from Him. See, these words that He gives us, they are directing our life, and even if you are worried about the unknown, even if you are concerned about what is going to happen next, God has it all planned out already.
 Think about it this way; when someone is making a movie, they write the script. They write everything that is going to happen in the movie, all the steps that people take, all the actions that they do, even when it comes to the unfortunate things that happen in the movie, they make sure that those things happen for a reason. That, in the end, all of these things come together and work out. But you see, in the movie of our life, God is the director, and we are the actor. And the actor might not know all that the director has planned. That is, until the director tells them. But are the actors going to do what they need to if they don't listen for the director's voice? No... I mean, they aren't going to mess it all up, but it is going to take them a little longer to get on the right track that the director has in mind for them.
 Do you see what I am saying here? We need to listen for God's voice in our lives. We need to listen for His guidance, for His wisdom, and for His directions, because when we follow them, we are going to be on the path towards that life that He has for us.
