"He said, 'There are only two in the year that nothing can be done, one is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do, and mostly live.'" Dalai Lama
No matter what happened to you yesterday, I want to tell you today that you can't do anything about it. That day is over, and all that happened to you is done with. And tomorrow, well, no matter what it is that you are worrying about for, that day isn't here yet, and there is nothing that you can do about that either. So what I want you to do today is, like Dalai Lama says, "love, believe, do, and mostly live."
You see, when it comes to the present, the time that we are in right now, we tend to miss out on it most of the time. Why do you think this is? Well, let me tell you; In our world, in our society, and in our lives, so many of us are either stuck in our past, worrying or fretting over what we could have done, what we should of done, and how our lives would have turned our differently if we did or didn't. And then there is some of us that are stuck in future. We are looking ahead, worrying and stressing out over what it's going to bring, what is going to happen, and if we can even handle it. But let me tell you something today, something that, if you are finding yourself in either of these situation today, you need to hear. See, the present is called the present for a reason, it is because this moment we are living in, these seconds that we have in the palms of our hands, they are a gift from God.
So we need to know and come to terms with the fact that we can't do anything about our past. God has already forgiven and forgotten about everything that we are dwelling over and stuck in, so why shouldn't we do the same? And also remember that we can't do anything about our future, so stop dwelling in it and just believe that God has your future in the palm of your hands, just like He always has and always will, and He has promised us that He is never going to let us fail.
So get into the present and enjoy the gift that it is, and in it, begin to "love, believe, do, and mostly live."
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR REMINDER, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND INSPIRATION. A HUGE AMEN!!!!!!!
