Bitter Trials? Or Blessings In Disguise?

"What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise." Oscar Wilde

Maybe today you are going through a situation that is really just stressing you out. It is wearing you down and you are questioning, questioning yourself and God, why it is that this has happened. But let me tell you something today; no matter how irritating, frustrating, or stressful this situation may be, you are going to look back one day and see that this was a blessing in disguise.
Oscar Wilde puts it beautifully into the quote above. He explains that, these "bitter trials" that we are going through, these obstacles in front of us, these bumps in the road that we just cannot seem to get over, they my friend, may end up becoming one of the biggest blessings of your life.
Now I know for a fact that, when facing these types of situations, we want to see the results right away. We feel like, since we went through it, or are even going through it currently, then we are going to see what that blessing in disguise was, and see it soon. But that is not what really happens, and I think that this is where most people get frustrated with this concept. You have to wait a while for the blessing to work out. You will see why you didn't get that job, you will see why your car broke down when it did, or you will see why you weren't meant to have that one certain thing that you thought you needed, it all takes time. See, when we look back on our lives, let's say a year from now, within a few of our "bitter trials" that we had, we are going to see that they actually turned out to be blessings, and we are going to thank God that He did what He did.
Now, on the other hand, we are not going to see some of these blessings and how they worked out until we are up in heaven asking God ourselves. Yes, we will still experience them, but we won't be able to figure out the reasoning behind certain obstacles and trials while we are here on earth. But still, through all of these, through all of your hardships and frustration, just thank God, because, whether you realize it or not, He is making something beautiful out of this situation.
