"We must live by faith, not by fear." Quentin L. Cook
Today, I want to ask you a question; what is it that you are afraid of? Just answer within yourself. Do you have it? It also doesn't have to be just one thing, just bring all of your fears to the table today. Got them? Okay, so now, you know what you are afraid of, that's obvious, for they are all laying out in front of you, but why is it that you are afraid of them?
So now, do you have an answer for that question? It was a bit tougher... Now I know what it is that you are probably thinking, why is it that I am asking you all of this? Well you see, I want you took look at the reasons that you are afraid, and then look up to God and ask yourself, could He take care of these? Could God take the reasons that you have your fears into His own hands and take care of them Himself? Why, yes! Of course He could! We just have to be willing to let go.
Now what I am I saying? Why wouldn't we already want to let go of our fears? Well you see, when we are classifying them as "our fears," that is just showing that we have possession over them. That they are ours. And see, I think that our fears are something that we know, a type of comfort, if you will, and we are also afraid of letting go of them and giving them up to God, for what if He didn't work it out? But listen, today I want you to relabel your fears, and instead of calling them "my fears," I want you to start calling them "God's miracles."
You see, if you are willing to let go and give your fears to God, He will take them all and work them out for you, with your best interest in mind; and in doing so, by lifting that heavy burden off of our shoulders, we are beginning to show God that we are willing live by faith and live by trust in Him rather than living by fear.
So go out today, and start living a life of faith, with your fears being gone and God's miracles being put in their place.
