Searching For Purpose...

"Whether you to turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it."' Isaiah 30:21

 Maybe today, you are feeling a bit lost. You have been walking this journey, but recently you have been trying to find out where it is that God is trying to lead you. You are trying to figure out the purpose, the dream, and the meaning that He has put within your life, but you aren't having any luck. But let me tell you something today, that no matter where you are in your journey, God is always, and I mean always, going to guide you.
 So where is He? Where is God in this situation, because we certainly aren't hearing Him. We aren't hearing Him telling us to turn to the right or the left, as the verse above says, so now what? Well you see, my friend, to hear something, especially the Lord's soft and gentle voice, you have to listen. You have to be still, make time for just you and God alone, and yes, talk to Him, but also just take time to be silent, and listen to what it is that He is telling you.
 No know this, that chances are that you are not going to hear answers right away, but don't you see that that is just another part of God's marvelous plan for your life? And He is going to cause it to happen in His time.
 So what is it that we are supposed to do in the meantime? Well you see, even though we may be trying to figure out our purpose and our dreams, we need to follow God's direction. We need to go where He is telling us to go, for the places and opportunities that He leads us to are only going to equip us and get us closer to what it is that we are traveling towards.
 So today, be still, and listen to what it is that God has to tell you, and go where it is that He tells you to go. He has never left you before, and He is not going to do that now. He is going to guide you, keep you, and get you to where it is that He has you to be.
