"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 7:26-27
Maybe today in your life, you feel worried. Worried that you are not going to have enough; enough strength to conquer what lies in front of you, enough time, enough money, enough energy; but let me tell you today, that if God did it for the birds, then He, my friend, is going to it for you.
Now I want you to think about the life of the birds that God created. What do they do? They fly around, moving from place to place, going wherever it is that their life takes them. They do not worry about where their next meal is coming from. They do not worry as to where it is that they are going or what it will hold for them once they get there; and they do not worry about whether they will be strong enough or smart enough to handle it, but do you know what it is that they do instead? They do something that we should all learn to do from them. They keep flying, because they trust that they are going to have everything that they need.
Now let me ask you a question today; can worry do anything to help you? No. It cannot. So instead of worrying, and in the midst of all of our praying and listening, we have to trust that God is going to provide. We have to know that He created us, just like He has created the birds, and if He provides for them, if He gives them everything that they need, all at the perfect time of when they need it, then we have to know that He is going to do that for us.
So take the weight of worry off of your shoulders today, keep praying, keep listening, put your trust in God, and keep flying, going wherever it is that your life takes you. For if He provides for the birds, then He is going to provide or you.
