"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
Maybe in your life today, you are feeling weak, you are feeling like you are at a low place in your your life, like you are tired of running this race, and feeling as though you can't walk another step down this path. Whatever you may be feeling today, let me tell you, that you are looking at your situation with the wrong perspective.
You see, we are weak. We aren't strong enough to keep running this race, and we just aren't capable. But do you know why? It is because we are only strong enough, we can only keep running the race, and we are only capable, if we have God on our side. We can only do all of these things if we put our hope in HIm.
You see, yesterday I talked about what hope was, and how it was the expectation of God's goodness in our lives, and that is the perspective that we need to start looking through. You see, when we look at ourselves with our own perspective, we are going to see a weak, incapable, and tired person, and in turn, that is what we are going to become, but if you would just take the step today of beginning to look through God's perspective, the perspective that we, once we begin to expect His goodness in every area of our lives, will begin to see. It is a perspective that sees us as beautiful, created for an amazing reason, strong, capable, smart, and so much more than we see ourselves as through our own eyes.
So today, rest in that hope, and in that perspective that God is offering us to look through; for when you do, God is going to take you to new heights in your life that you never could have reached before. He is going to cause to to keep running this race, of which will hold so many indescribably amazing things for you, and you will not grow tired. He is going to keep you on the journey of walking this path that He has paved for you, one that you have the strength to walk, and one that holds so many spectacular blessings, miracles, and opportunities, that you can't even imagine. All because we put our hope in Him, and begin to look through His perspective.
