Take The Baby Steps That God Has Laid In Front Of You, Step Up, And Do The Work

"Now begin the work, and the Lord be with you." 1 Chronicles 22:16

 Today, I want you to listen to what it is that God is telling you to do, deep down inside of yourself. Now, it isn't going to be a loud booming voice, but rather, a small whisper, and that whisper is directing your every step, telling you to do certain tasks and giving you certain inspiration, so today, I want you to listen to that voice, go out, and "begin the work."
 Now how is it that we are supposed to know what it is that God is calling us to do? How are we supposed to know what the inspiration or task that He has given us is? Well you see, I think that too often, we are listening for the wrong thing. We are listening for God to tell us to do this big momentous thing that will change our lives. We are waiting for Him to tell us to do something huge to fulfill His plan for us. But see, God is going to fulfill His plan for you, but He is going to do it in baby steps. He isn't going to take you where you are now, pick you up, and place you at the finish line, because if He did, you would miss out on all of steps leading up to that point; and these steps, each and every one of them, are preparing you for what it is that God does have at that finish line. You are not ready for it now, but after you take the baby steps that God has put in front of you towards whatever it is that He has in store for you, then you will be.
 See, God directs our steps and leads us down them, but, as His followers, we need to step up and do the work. If we are wanting to get to that point of finding out where it is that God has called us to in our lives, then we need to take these baby steps that He has laid in front of us, and we need to complete the job or task that is associated with it. Now, these tasks are not always going to be easy, in fact, some of them may be quite challenging, but if we would just take heart in the fact that, with every step completed, we are that much closer to finding out what it is that God has called us to. So today, I want you, my friend, to step up and do the work; for when you do and as you continue to do so, you are going to be absolutely amazed by what it is that God is going to do in your life.
