Ge Out Of Yourself; Be A Blessing, Change A Life, And Become Who God Has You To Be

"Be a blessing to someone today." Proverbs 11:25

In our lives, we ask for things, we pray for things, and we want things, and do not get me wrong on this, this is totally normal, and it is truly is good to want an ask for things, especially from God; but sometimes, amidst ourselves we lose the idea that we need to go out and be a blessing to others.
See sometimes, and I am guilty of this myself, we get so caught up in what it is that we are asking for, we get so caught up in what it is that we want, that we forget about the aspect of being a blessing to others. The aspect that could not only change a life, but, ultimately, help us reach what it is that we are asking for.
Now, I know what it is that you may be thinking. How am I supposed to be a blessing? How am I supposed to go out and not only help change someone's day around, but lead me closer to what I am asking God for? I just don't have that capability. Now, I am not saying that you have to fly halfway across the country or save someone's life to be a blessing, but so many times, blessings, especially to those who need it, are the smallest of tasks that we most often take for granted. It is a smile, a hug, a "have a great day," or even just a nice conversation. If you would do these things and do them with a kind heart, then, my friend, not only are you going to be able to be a blessing to others, but you are leading yourself closer to the answers that God has to whatever you are asking Him for. How, you ask? Well you see, I believe that, when we ask God for things, He sees us, inside and out, and determines if we are ready for them, and if not, He leads us and guides us to gain what we need, and sometimes, I feel as though that need is to get out of ourselves. That need is to get out of the mindset of what we want and what we need, and start thinking about the needs of others, and how we are able to fulfill those, How we are able to fill those empty holes that they may have within them, and in doing so, we are filling empty holes within ourselves that God is waiting to be filled so that He can grant us with the answers that we have been searching for.
So today, get out of yourself, go out, and be a blessing to someone. Just hold a door, pay them a compliment, give them a hug, or just have a conversation. The smallest act could truly change a person's life, and you have the capability to perform it. Not only that, but in doing so, you are becoming the person that God has you to be, and getting closer to the answers that you have been searching for.

Have a glorious day! God bless you!
