Maybe today, you feel like you have failed. Now, whether that be a job, an assignment, in a situation, a task, or in a relationship, there is something that I want to tell you; see, we all fail, but to achieve the great things that God wants us to achieve, we have to be willing to fail.
Now, why would we have to fail first? Doesn't God want us to succeed? Well the answer to that is yes, God wants you to succeed more than anyone, but in order to do that, we have to fail. See, most people look at failure as a step down. They look at it as a hindrance to their journey in getting to where it is that God has them to be, but what they aren't seeing is the fact that God may actually have caused you to fail because this path wasn't right for you. Maybe He has caused you to fail in this aspect of your relationship with that person because He knows that you can build it up stronger than it was. Or maybe He caused you to fail because He wants to see if you really want this, He wants to see if you are willing to get back up from being knocked down and keep going.
So you see, failure isn't always that bad thing that everyone makes it out to be, but in fact, and this is what people don't notice, these failures are just bringing you closer and closer to the future that God has in store for you, and if it isn't doing that, He is leading you away from what it is that He doesn't have for you. Now, I want you to know this short phrase, and remember it and carry it with you, see, God may cause us to fail, but He will never cause us to fall. God may cause you to fail in a situation or relationship, but He is never going to let you fall. You may be turned in another direction or knocked over so you are strengthened to get back up again, but with His help, you are never going to be knocked down for good. You are never going to fail to such an extent that God is going to let you go and make you walk this path on your own. No! But through it all, through everything, through the ups and the downs, through the successes and failures, He is going to carry you, He is going to lead you, and He is going to guide you to where He has you to go. So trust Him, even when you are discouraged with yourself, for He is using this failure to get you further down the path that He has paved for you.
Amen...
