How Are You Looking At Your Fear? And Which Meaning Of It Will You Choose?

"F-E-A-R has two meanings... Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours." Zig Ziglar

Maybe today, you are full of fear. Maybe you are scared of this situation that you have out in front of you. You don't know how you are going to get through it, or even if you can. But let me ask you a question; how are you looking at this fear?
Now, I think that more often than not, when we are afraid of something ahead of us, it is because we aren't trusting God with it. We aren't believing that He can get us through this or that we will be able to conquer it, and we don't trust Him with these things because we are too scared to even try. We consider all of the what-if's of the situation and all the reasons why we should turn around and run the other way. Well, let me tell you that you do have a choice. When faced with fear, you have an option as to what it is that you are going to do. The first option; "Forget Everything And Run." Yes, you are forgetting about the fact of the pain or discomfort that it might cause you to go in after this fear, but you are also forgetting the idea that there may be something spectacular behind this fear, the idea that this fear could be a step taking you further down the road that God has paved for you. Now, I am not going to lie, this option is an easier one to take, just ignoring the obstacle of fear and turning the other way, but you also have to consider when making this choice what it is that you will be missing out on.
Now, the other option is to "Face Everything And Rise." To go into your fear head first and conquer the obstacle that it holds, all with God at your side. Now, truthfully speaking, this option will not be easy, and it may not be too comfortable either, but when you have God at your side and when He is strengthening you to be a conqueror, when He is giving you what you need to overcome this situation, then my friend, I can encourage you that if you make this choice, you are going to be able to rise up to that fear and overcome it. Not only that, but after you do so, God is going to take you places on your journey that He has for you that you never would have even dreamed of going before.
So today, I leave you with the choice; what meaning of fear are you going to choose? "Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise?"
